The White Boar: activities and local events.

The White Boar is host to a few events, the most important being the spring Beer Festival and the bi-annual metal detecting rally.
The detecting rally attracts guests from all parts of Croatia and Europe to take part in a weeks' exploration of the county, working with the local museum to uncover long lost artefacts and discover new archaeological sites. Guests camp on the site and The White Boar provides catering for the week, including pig roasts.

The White Boar is only a few kilometres from Vinkovci, Europe's oldest continually inhabited town. The town is host to many events, the most well known being the world famous "Vinkovci Autumn" which takes place in over two weeks in September.
The area is aso popular with hikers, cyclists, anglers and birdwatchers. The pub is very close to the River Bosut which is host to widfowl and water birds inclusing snowy egrets and cormorants. Peregrine falcons nest just by the pub and the land around is visited by deer, wild boar, hares and many species of birds.
