The White Boar: a bit of Britain in Croatia.

The White Boar was developed from a derelict cottage in an abandoned hamlet near the River Bosut close to the village of Andrijaševci in Eastern Croatia, using mainly reclaimed oak, bricks and roof tiles, it was opened as a pub and clubhouse for campers and visitors to our developing campsite and for the small but thirsty British community that is growing locally. The name was chosen by a Facebook poll of friends.
While we have a good selection of the best Croatian beers, including hand pumped draught pale ale from a local brewery. We also brew our own beer and cider and have regular British Beer & Cider tasting. We also try to offer a good selection of bottled British real ales.

We try to keep the pub as traditionally British as possible, offering darts & dominoes and other traditional pub games. Smoking is allowed and the only major modern concessions we have made is a TV. WIFI and a new toilet with shower.
We have many events, including the bi-annual Metal Detecting Rally, which attracts visitors from all over Europe. The area is known for it's abundant wildlife, it's ancient history, fishing, hunting, and local folklore.
The White Boar is also a new cider farm with English cider apple trees, unique in Europe and our intention is to make The White Boar the main outlet for our produce.

We are a small pub, with seating for twenty guests and a log fire, making it it cosy in winter and attractive to smaller groups and private parties. In summer, there is plenty of shaded outside seating. We love doing barbeques and have a newly built barbeque that can take a full sized pig or lamb.
We have extensive lawns making the White Boar suitable for camping and sports. The area, although very near to the villages of Rokovci and Andrijaševci and served by the local Vinkovci - Županja railway line with Rokovci station only 500 metres away, is quiet and secluded.
